Cristina Dias Lourenco, the daughter of Angola’s President, has been appointed as the interim CEO of the country’s stock exchange, Bodiva. She holds a degree in management from the London School of Economics and Political Sciences and is the longest-serving member of Bodiva’s executive board. Lourenco will replace Walter Pacheco, who resigned last month, according to a statement from the Luanda-based exchange.
Her appointment is pending approval at a shareholder meeting scheduled for March 21. If confirmed, Lourenco will take on the leadership role at Bodiva, overseeing its operations and strategic direction.
